Talk about ABC’s new drama Private Practice has made it clear this is a Grey’s Anatomy spin off. The Grey’s Anatomy formula is a proven success; however, can it do the same for Private Practice? The choice of cast does not hurt the shows chances which stars Taye Diggs, Audra McDonald, and Kate Walsh. Set in a medical setting is an obvious similarity but viewers will have to wait for the shows start to actually determine how close the two shows correlate.

Dr. Addison Montgomery is a neonatal surgeon who want love and a child. Addison has experienced two affairs, bad relationships. She goes to Santa Monica in search of changing her unlucky life. In Santa Monica are her medical school friends Jackson and Naomi.
Jackson and Naomi are part of a Private Practice which Addison becomes part of. Jackson is single and also looks for love. Naomi is a fertility specialist and was married to Jackson, but the two are now divorced.
Together the private practice helps patients and when not working each other. Addison may have moved locations to solve her problems but will she really discover that was her real problem?
